Cathal Daynes explained Biostimulation 360 concept at the New AG International Conference in China

At the recent New AG International China Conference and Exhibition, Tradecorp’s Asia & Pacific (APAC) division launched the Biostimulation 360 concept to the Chinese market. Global Technical Manager, Dr Cathal Daynes, spoke about the effect of the ongoing climate breakdown and explained that globally for growers “there is rarely a normal weather year anymore”. This presents new and varied abiotic stress challenges to growers that impact on yield and quality.

Overcoming abiotic stress challenges

Biostimulants are recognised as one of the key tools in helping to manage abiotic stress. However, with products in the market of a different nature, which have different types of multiple active ingredients and modes of action available, which biostimulant to use can be confusing to growers.

Tradecorp’s Biostimulation 360 concept is an evolution of biostimulant understanding and positioning. It aims to ease decision making for growers by dividing Biostimulants recommendations and use across the crop growth cycle. The biostimulants in the Tradecorp range are divided into Before Stress Biostimulants, During Stress Biostimulants and After Stress Biostimulants.

Biostimulation 360 aims to make it easier for growers to choose the correct product for their specific situation regardless of their global location, time of year and stage of their crop. The aim is to ensure growers can continue to produce crops with maximum quality and yield, with a positive return on their input investment, and greater resistance to adverse climatic and abiotic stress conditions.
