Getting to know Tradecorp: A closer look at East Africa

Over the past 16 years, Tradecorp has been instrumental in helping farmers in Kenya increase the yields and quality of their crops. Based on this success, the company has recently branched out into Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and is currently planning to also work in Rwanda and South Africa.

Working alongside farmers

East Africa is a region with a broad variety of crops, which is why our team’s focus goes from roses to horticultural export crops including Cereals, Fruit crops and Coffee, as well as the small scale sector growing tomatoes, potato, cabbage, kale, carrots amongst many other crops. With a total of over 50 crops grown in Kenya, Tradecorp supplies fertilizers and micro nutrients to most of these crops.

The company also wants to ensure the correct nutrients are used at the correct dose and stages of growth of the crops. For this reason, they do not only recommend using Tradecorp’s top range of speciality fertilizers, the team also provides technical back up services at farm level as well.
