Montaner will raise awareness among farmers about the importance of supporting healthy and sustainable agriculture.
“Being a high performance athlete is like being a farmer, they both require work 365 days a year,” says Concha Montaner, an internationally renown Spanish athlete, who will be at the Idai Nature – Tradecorp Stand at this year´s Fruit Attraction convention to raise awareness among farmers about the importance of “making the leap” to Well Balanced Agriculture.
“Every day we become more demanding when buying healthy and safe food. Therefore, farmers should strive to not be left behind in this race towards a new type of agriculture,” explains Montaner, paralleling both her experience and the challenge facing the agricultural sector.
The long jumper that holds the record for the highest outdoor jump in history, 6.92 meters. During her stay at the stand, she will explain the keys that have allowed her to participate in 4 Olympic Games as well as the secret to staying in the highest competitive level for over 14 years.
In addition, Tradecorp’s joint stand with Idai Nature will have a thematic space that will allow visitors to ascend the podium with Montaner and take a souvenir photograph with her medals.
