About Cátedra Phylgreen
Initiated three years ago in Lleida, Spain, the Cátedra Phylgreen was organized to pass long Tradecorp’s knowledge about the uses of seaweed in the ag sector through their product Phylgreen. Since its debut, the event has expanded to other regions to Spain, including Cartagena which brought together over 120 leaders of the ag sector from Almería, Alicante, and Murcia, as well as Valencia and now Seville.
Phylgreen is a liquid seaweed solution made up of 100% pure Ascophyllum nodosum extract. This brown seaweed comes from a highly stressful environment in Northern Ireland subject to constant tidal action, and thus causes the seaweed plant to develop a high number of anti-stress active ingredients to survive. The seaweed is harvested by hand in a sustainable way.
In Tradecorp’s factory in Ireland they incorporate unique Gentle Extraction technology, a method of cold extraction which preserves all the active ingredients from the seaweed without adding chemical substances. Tradecorp combines this unique technology with its experience in biostimulants and special fertilizers to create anti-stress solutions which nourish and enhance the metabolism of all crops.
