Tradecorp sponsors car 25 at the Rhino Charge, the fundraising event for the conservation of Kenya’s Aberdare Ecosystem

For the third time, Tradecorp sponsored the team “The Charging Hippos” to participate in this competition that associates motorsport with a good cause: raising funds for the conservation of ecosystems in Kenya.

In 2016, the team sponsored by Tradecorp managed not only to complete the Rhino Charge, but also to finish in 8^th position out of the only 11 cars that managed to complete all the check points. The fundraising was also a big success this year, since the Rhino Ark broke all records and managed to raise $1.4 million to conserve Kenya’s heritage.

About the Rhino Charge

The Rhino Charge is an off-road event in which competitors are required to visit 13 points scattered over approximately 100 square kms of rough terrain within a 10 hour period. The fundraising is directed by Rhino Ark, a charitable trust founded in 1988 for the building of a fence that encircles nearly 400 km of the Aberdare ecosystem to ensure its long-term integrity.
